Lying between Brittany & the Vendée and looking out over the Atlantic, Pornic is ideally situated and enjoys a micro climate all of its own.
This charming old seaport is in the shadow of "Bluebeards Castle" with sandy beaches, creeks and inlets, hiking trails and a full range of leisure activities. Situated on the edge of a golf course, our lovely 2 bedroom apartment is on a small estate just 1000m from lovely sandy beaches and within walking distance of the town centre with all its restaurants, bars, weekly markets, shops & casino.
Pornic is known as the pearl of the "Jade Coast", facing south and protected from the Atlantic winds by the island of Noirmoutier. It has a busy sailing harbour, lovely beaches with wind surfing, sailing, fishing and other activities on offer, there are tennis courts, horse riding, a thalassotherapy, where you can be pampered with wonderful health treatments to suit everyone. and numerous other things to see & do to keep everyone occupied.
The international airport at Nantes is 30 minutes drive away and there is a local train station with connections to Paris.

Bedrooms
There is one double bedroom and a twin room. The beds are supplied with pillows and duvets, but no linen or towels are provided.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a basin, bath with overhead shower., with a separate toilet.
The whole apartment is tiled throughout. There is electric heating in the apartment which makes it an ideal place all year round.. Parking is adjacent.
Living/dining

Furnished with a comfortable settee, armchairs, TV/video, table and chairs, and a coffee table.
Kitchenette
The corner kitchenette has an small electric oven, hob, washing machine, fridge, etc. plus all utensils and crockery needed.
Terrace
Outside is a tiled
terrace and small tiled garden overlooking the golf course. There is a table,
chairs there for your use. No barbecues are allowed at the apartments.
On site there is a large swimming pool and paddling pool.
Around the area
Just 5 mins away is the club house of Le Golf du Pornic which is a 18 hole par 72 course. In the surrounding region there are many other top class golf courses which in co-operation with Le Golf du Pornic offer many different tariffs which allow you to play some or all of the local courses at a discount.
Whatever the season there is always something to see and do in this lively town. It is ideally situated for visits to "Puy de Fou", the medieval theme park, with a wonderful "son et luminiere", La Baule, famous for its glorious golden sandy beaches, a boat to the I'le de Noirmoutier, the bay de Bourgneuf with its oysters follow the wine route and discover Muscadet and the "Gros Plant" a superb white wine of the region..
It is an easy drive from all the western ferry ports and motorway almost all the way from Calais.

HIGH SEASON: July & August £600 per week
MID SEASON: May, June & September £350 per week
LOW SEASON: All other months £200 per week
(Christmas & New Year are Mid- Season)
All prices are inclusive of electricity & use of the pool in season (end June –mid Sept)
