French 19th Century timbered Holiday Farmhouse. Sleeps up to 10

This charming double glazed timbered French Farmhouse is situated in the village of Machy, South of Boulogne and 75 minutes drive from Calais. The beaches of the Cote d'Opal are only 15km away.

The house has always been popular with birdwatchers, golfers, anglers, bikers and walkers.

Biking through the Forest of Crecy, or around the Bay of the Somme is another favoured activity - there are three mountain bikes in the house.

Plenty of information is given to people who rent the house

There are three golf courses in the vicinity for keen golfers. The Parc de Marquenterre for birdwatchers is 15km away.

The house is suited to large groups who come with a purpose in mind, or smaller groups who enjoy a quiet relaxing holiday.

Accommodation

There are three bedrooms (4,3,2) plus a bed in the lounge plus camp beds and sofas, so it could sleep 10 - 14, 10 in comfort. We can accommodate up to 14 with camp beds and sofas.

It is well equipped with English TV and video, fan oven, hob and microwave oven, bathroom, shower, toilet, refrigerator, washing machine.

The garden has a large flat area for football, badminton, volley ball, etc.

Places to visit

For small children there are various Theme Parks.

Chateaux, Abbeys, Market towns, etc. plenty of museums to visit, etc.and the Aquaclub and Aqualud are nearby (big swimming complexes, tropical wavepools, water chutes,)

The World War I battlefields are about 50 minutes away.

Paris is only 90 minutes drive, Amiens, Lille, Arras, Beauvais one hour.

Tariff's

£100 for two people, £150 for 8-10 people per week Sept-July

£340 for two weeks in August.

5 day minibreaks available Sept-July from £95, dependent on number.

Even a weekend visit from £65.

£50 reserves a booking, the remainder one month before you travel.
