This Charming Chalet is set in the creek area of Meetjesland and situated 3 km from the village centre, yet in the middle of a rural area and nature reserve Doornendijk surrounded by dikes, and lakes.

 Several terraces overlook the spectacular Flemish nature. Ideal for nature lovers and the historical towns of Bruges, Ghent and the North Sea Coast.

Assenede is one of the oldest villages in Flanders.

Accommodation

The Chalet is non smoking, and do not allow pets. 

Kitchen:- Cooker, grill,  coffee machine, freezer, microwave, refrigerator, toaster and kettle.

Bathroom:-  hair dryer, shower, towels, wash basin.

Lounge:- with books and information of the region. Radio Standard TV stereo system, VCR.

Bedrooms:-  2 double bedrooms. Bed linen provided.

Outside:-  There is a barbecue area, garden with garden furniture, sun loungers and terrace. Area for parking.

Free use of bicycles for guests.

The canals, lush green pastures and extensive soft, sandy dunes of Flanders need no introduction ; their beauty has been captured for centuries by some of the world's greatest artists. The Meetjesland, is known only to a discerning few, yet it has much to offer anyone seeking peace and quiet.

The historical towns of Ghent 20 km, Bruges and Damme 40 km , Antwerp 40 km and the Dutch North Sea coast 26 km. The area is also a paradise for cycling and walking.
