Situated in Valdelagua  The Mill and the Fabriquina  have been restored to its original character.

The Mill

The property has been beautifully restored, decorated and furnished to a high standard. It has stone walls and chestnut tree beamed ceilings.

There is a balcony which looks onto the river.

Accommodation comprises of:- A spacious hall with chimney, fully equipped kitchen which has direct access down to the river.

There are two very spacious en-suite bedrooms, and a large lounge and dining area.

 

Outside:- Spacious garden which leads down to the river is ideal for walking and for bathing in the summer.

The property has been decorated and furnished to a good standard.

Accommodation comprises of:-   Fully equipped kitchen, lounge, ensuite bedroom. The property is beamed and is very comfortable throughout.

Natural Park of Somiedo,  and The Muniellos Forest.

Our properties are Close to SOMIEDO NATURAL PARK that is "Reserva de la Biosfera since 2000".

Activities in the area

Montaña and Senderismo. - The region offers multitude to us of possibilities to practice sports, since it allows us the comfortable stroll between lakes, prairies, forests or rivers, to the ascent of some of the highest tips of the Cantabrian Mountain range (Cornón Tip, Rock Orniz or Peña Ubiña among others).

Fishing- We can practice the fishing in two exceptional marks, the Narcea and its main affluent the Pigüeña. The Narcea, salmonero river par. The Pigüeña is ideal for the fishing of the common trout, of excellent quality in these you cold and crystalline waters.

Nordic Ski. - The Port of Somiedo becomes winter and is the perfect place for cross-country skiing by its ample plains surrounded by mountains that make wonderful surroundings in the heart of the Cantabrian Mountain range. At the top of the Port it is possible to rent the equipment.

Horse routes- near companies dedicated to this activity.  

Hunting - The region is National Reserve of Hunting with it honouring  the red deer, corzo, rebeco and the wild boar.

Photographic hunting. - The wonderful landscapes and numerous species of flora and fauna offer an incomparable frame for this activity.

Specialities of the area - Calf  Meat, Stews, Fish and exquisite homemade desserts can be tasted in the restaurants.
