In the sleepy North Norfolk village of Great Snoring are Clevency Cottages, three pretty brick and flint listed cottages built in the 17th Century in a peaceful conservation village.

Great Snoring is only six miles from the coast at Wells-next-the-Sea, three miles from the market town of Fakenham and 10 miles from the historic Georgian town of Holt. Burnham Market is about 12 miles away, Blakeney also about 12 miles and Sandringham about 16 miles away. The cottages are quietly located in the heart of the village, close to the church and set in a spacious enclosed garden.

Accommodation

Each cottage is full of character, tastefully decorated, very comfortable, well equipped and beamed throughout. They are centrally heated, two have wood burning stoves and they all have their own freezer, microwave oven, colour televisions, video, CD/radio player, hairdryer, washing machine and use of a tumble dryer. We also have cots, stair gates, highchairs and an extra bed.

Our prices start from as little as £130 for three nights.

The price includes the heating, hot water, electricity, the first supply of fuel for the wood burning stoves and all linen (except bath towels). Children and pets are more than welcome.

Cherry Tree Cottage

         

A rear porch leads to a beamed sitting room with inglenook fireplace incorporating a wood burning stove. The oak fitted kitchen with dining area has a traditional pamment tiled floor, we believe dating back to the 1630's. Up a twisty staircase are two large bedrooms, one double, one twin and the bathroom. Cherry Tree Cottage benefits from its own front garden.

Rose cottage

Set on its own in the garden, Rose Cottage was once the barn having been converted to a charming characterful cottage about 20 years ago.

   Downstairs is an oak fitted kitchen with French doors opening out onto the small garden area, large sitting room with a lovely bay window, a bathroom with bath and shower attachment and utility room.

Upstairs are two roomy bedrooms, one twin and one double, each with beams and sloping ceilings.

Vine Cottage

The entrance to Vine Cottage is through a conservatory with a vine that bears delicious red grapes, then from the hall into the kitchen and to the utility room. 

The cosy sitting room with dining area is heavily beamed and has a wood burning stove. A twisty staircase leads to the bathroom and to a large romantic double bedroom

Owl Cottage

Owl Cottage is our latest cottage, having just undergone complete refurbishment it offers accommodation for 3 to 4 people. It is in the village of Sculthorpe which is about 4 miles from Great Snoring, about 8 miles from the coast at Wells-next-the-Sea and only 1 mile from the market town of Fakenham.

       

Built in the mid 1800's, this two bedroomed-terraced cottage consists of a large double bedded room and a further bedroom with either single or twin beds, a beamed sitting room with open fire, kitchen, utility room and bathroom with a bath and a separate power shower over.

All rooms have Night Storage Heaters. There is also an enclosed pretty front garden with a small seating area.
