Our pretty Derbyshire cottage built in 1709 has been given a 5 star grading by the English Tourism Board. We are situated in a rural and peaceful location in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales, edging the Peak District National Park and neighbouring the Staffordshire Moorlands. The cottage is set in a private, picturesque setting within 6 acres of beautifully maintained landscaped gardens and adjoining pastureland, at the edge of the peak district. It is safe and secure for children, quiet, private and relaxing for those wanting peace and wonderful scenery.
Hillside Croft is a picturesque sandstone self catering country cottage, with many historic and interesting features, there are ancient oak beams in every room and pretty inglenook fireplaces with wood burning stoves.
This beautiful cottage has quality fitted carpets throughout and full central heating. Furnished and fitted out to an exceptionally high standard. Our pretty Derbyshire cottage has been given a 5 star grading by the English Tourism Board.
The cottage has 3 floors, with 2 shallow staircases between each floor with a half landing, making access for children, the elderly or infirm easily accessible and safe.

Ground FloorLounge
The main lounge has 3 quality settees, Colour TV with Teletext, Video and Music centre. It has a fireplace with a wood burning stove for those colder evenings.
Dining Room
The dining room along with all other rooms is fitted with quality antique pine furniture. The table seats 10 comfortably, there are extra chairs and a high chair provided. A Pine dresser graces this beautiful room. Set under an inglenook fireplace and cosy wood burning stove.
Kitchen
Fully fitted antique pine farmhouse kitchen, with tiled and marble worktops and a French double pottery sink. There is a halogen cooker with 2 ovens, a fridge/freezer, chest freezer, microwave, automatic washer, tumble drier, dishwasher, Hoover, Iron and Ironing board, Coffee maker and every other item you may wish for in a well equipped kitchen.
Both the kitchen and hall have under floor heating ideal for those walking boots after a day in the Derbyshire Dales. There is a downstairs cloakroom with WC, hand basin. also a payphone on this floor.
First Floor
Bedroom 1
2 single beds, a cot, dressing table, triple wardrobe and cabinets all in antique pine. Quality bedding and furnishings.
Master Bedroom
Double bed, single Z bed, cabinets, dressing table and triple wardrobe. En suite facilities with power shower, WC, wash basin and shaving point.
Master Bathroom
Victorian bathroom suite with roll top bath, bidet, WC, wash hand basin, walk in power shower and shaving point.
Second Floor - all with sloping ceilings
Bedroom 3
Double bed, single Z bed, drawers, cabinets and wardrobes.
Bedroom 4 (second lounge)
Double bed, wardrobe, drawers, coffee table second colour TV + cot.
Bedroom 5
Access through bedroom 4, contains double bed, single Z bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest drawers. Quality Z bed and second cot.
Bedding and linen is included. Towels by arrangement.
Heating and Electricity included.
Normal weekly linen changes are every Saturday and are included in the cottage hire fees. If extra changes are required during the week, then a laundry charge of £40 will be charged.
Children welcome, sorry no pets and no smoking.
All rooms overlook the gardens, giving beautiful views all-round.
Garden
The gardens are equipped with a patio set and BBQ. There is a lockable garden shed for bicycles and other items. Rotary clothes line.
Car parking is available for over 10 cars in a secure environment.

Off peak weekend breaks are available, the property
is open all year.

Chatsworth House, Kedleston Hall, Haddon Hall, Sudbury Hall, Renishaw Hall, Hardwick Hall or step back in time at Calke Abbey.
Visit the premier theme park of Alton Towers or try the American Adventure and Waterworld.
Activities
Walking, cycling, climbing, canoeing, pony trekking or caving in the many beautiful dales and moorlands that Derbyshire and the Peak District have in abundance.

Prices from £690 to £1465 for
full week.
Weekends pro rata minimum 70% of full week.

Offcote Grange Cottage Holidays are currently restoring two more beautiful Grade II listed historic buildings into luxury 5 STAR self catering accommodation. The first of these Billy's Bothy which will be ready for around July 2004 and will sleep 10+. The second Henmoor View will sleep 8 to 10 and it is anticipated that this will be ready for 2006/7.
