Bridleways is situated in a quiet and private rural setting of 3.5 acres just off the B6030, between Mansfield and Ollerton making this an ideal base for visiting the many local attractions in this delightful part of Robin Hood country.

There is direct access on foot along the bridlepath to Vicar Water Country Park and its fishing lake, and to Sherwood Pines Forest Park with its splendid walks and cycle routes. Clipstone Forest, which is on the National Cycle Route, is 5 minutes ride along the bridlepath that forms the boundary of Bridleways.

Ploughman's Cottage- available all year round

Situated in the extensive private grounds of Bridleways, a stay at the Ploughman's Cottage combines rural peace and quiet with modern comfort and convenience.

Accommodation consists of:-  Main bedroom boasts a 4 poster bed and there is a twin bedded room, a large bathroom with corner bath and shower fitting, a family sized sitting room, and a well equipped fully fitted kitchen. With full gas central heating the cottage is available all year round - nightly or weekly bookings.

The Guest House

Originally two late 18th century farm cottages, the low beamed ceilings of the guests' lounge and breakfast room capture the charm of the older part of the building.

A traditional breakfast will get your day off to a good start and an evening stroll through the grounds is the ideal way to relax following a day of business or pleasure.

All nine guest bedrooms each have an en-suite bath or shower room, television and tea/coffee making facilities.

Static Caravans -  nightly or weekly bookings

The static caravans are bright, comfortable and clean and are situated in Bridleways private grounds  and adjacent to the field designated for croquet,  ball games and barbecues. Bridleways has four static caravans and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.

All the caravans have fully equipped kitchens with cooker and fridge, and there are colour TVs in the lounge areas. Each caravan has one or two bedrooms, a shower room with wc and wash basin, and an open plan kitchen, dining and comfortable lounge area. Seating in the
lounge can be converted to provide additional beds.

Regular annual inspections ensure we are compliant with current gas and electrical safety standards; certificates are on display in the caravans.

Places to visit around the area

The market town of Mansfield with its shopping centres, pubs, clubs, restaurants and theatre is only a matter of minutes away. Clumber & Rufford Parks and Newstead Abbey are all within a short travelling distance and, if you wish for something more lively, Gulliver's Kingdom, The American Adventure and Nottingham City are all accessible.
