We are the proud owners of The Station Master’s House and The Old Station Yard situated on and once forming part of the working Ludborough Railway Station.

We are currently consulting with the East Lindsey District Council planners, Lincolnshire tourism and economic development to provide a high quality tourist arena unique not only to Lincolnshire but to the whole of the UK.

With vision and creativity we aim to provide an attractive and appealing retreat; not only for railway enthusiasts but for haven seekers.

A wonderful peaceful holiday base for both rail enthusiasts, holiday makers and nature lovers alike. The scale of the unique property naturally lends itself to larger families, family reunions, or groups of friends looking for something special. Station Masters House is situated 800m east of the main A16 Grimsby to Louth road next to the railway crossing

This stunning 4 bedroom house, with spacious, airy rooms and classic country décor, has a real homely feel which exudes character and charm. Add to that the unique surroundings and you have a holiday home that fully deserves to be at the top of anyone’s list.

The Station Masters House has been fully renovated and completely refurbished, offering high quality, self catering accommodation available all year round. This deceptively spacious accommodation sleeps 8 people in complete comfort!

Accommodation:- The whole house is beautifully decorated throughout in complimentary colours and natural woods.

The ground floor comprises:- a welcoming entrance porch, with useful space for coats and shoes. This leads into a large family lounge with comfy sofas, and an attractive open fireplace. A large picture window overlooks the garden and the Lincolnshire Wolds beyond.

The main lounge leads into a delightful sun lounge that doubles as a dining/family room. This wonderful room has a farmhouse table that comfortably seats eight. Patio doors open onto a secluded, private paved area with picnic tables, ideal for alfresco dining within the attractive garden.

The large kitchen is fully equipped with a range of country style units and modern appliances.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a further entrance door and hallway leading to a ground floor cloakroom with w.c. and good sized twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes.

The first floor:- has a further three excellent sized double bedrooms and a bathroom.

All the bedrooms have matching pine furniture providing ample storage space. Two of the bedrooms have bunk beds, while the master bedroom has a metal framed, four poster bed, with pretty voile drapes.

The family bathroom has been beautifully decorated with mosaic-style tiling and the large bath has an electric shower fitted overhead.

The delightful garden also provides access to the boiler room offering plenty of scope to hang up wet sailing or fishing gear on the many hooks and shelves. A secure, single garage is integral to the main house and is ideal for a car or for storing bicycles etc. There is also a separate wood store, always fully stocked with logs for use in the lounge fireplace.

With so much going on in the area one could never be short of things to do! A real haven of peace & tranquillity amazingly just ten minutes drive from the hubbub of Cleethorpes & Grimsby & the more traditional, quiescent appeal of Louth. Visitors will enjoy the range and diversity of activities and attractions that abound in close proximity. Amazing views, stretching out to Lincolnshire’s rolling Wolds and to Pleasure Island less than 6 miles away in Cleethorpes.

We propose to introduce a range of accommodation units in a beautifully landscaped setting to provide visitors with a choice to satisfy all desires.

Reproduction rail carriages in brake van style with quality fittings and fitments in original rail style, with timber clad barrel ceiling and traditional moquettes. (We are even open to offers to build your very own brake van should you like ours too much to tear yourself away!)

The introduction of our 12 berth sleeper 380M divided into 3 four berth sleeping accommodations serviced by individual amenity lounge/living areas in a superb ‘waiting room’ style accommodation bloc.

The conversion of our weighmaster’s office into a signal box accommodation – a truly unique experience, will be a smaller unit for just two but with amazing views from the living room on the upper floor.

Sympathetic conversion of the existing grain store to provide further guest amenities and lodgings within a landmark building of unbelievable and appealing character.
