Welcome to Luv 'a' Duck Cottage

Number 2 High Street, or Luv 'a' Duck cottage as the proprietors call it, stands by the beck, close to the church and centre of the old village of Nettleham.

The picturesque setting is a two minute walk to a choice of three public houses, all of which serve lunch and evening meals. Other local amenities include various shops, a post office, library and chemist.

The Cottage is four star rated by The English Tourist Council and completely self-contained property. It comprising of a large entrance hall, dining room, sitting room, living room with widescreen TV.

There is one parking space at the rear of the cottage and also parking in the lay-by at the front of the cottage.

Around the area

There is an excellent bus service to Lincoln. A three mile drive takes you to the historic uphill part of Lincoln with its magnificent Cathedral dating back to 1072. Nearby stands Lincoln Castle built in 1068 on the instructions of William the Conqueror.

There is plenty to see and do in Lincolnshire. The magnificent Lincoln Cathedral, Lincoln Castle, ancient buildings, beautiful villages and surrounding countryside. 

Dating back to 1072 Lincoln Cathedral towers over the City of Lincoln. Under St Hugh it was rebuilt in the gothic style we see today.

Built in 1068 by William the Conqueror. For 900 years the Castle has stood serving as a court and prison.

Doddington Hall. An unspoilt Elizabethan home of the Jarvis family for 4 generations. Georgian interior with art collections, beautiful gardens, events and cafe.
