Broadway House

The six cottages sleep between 2 and 14 people. Each has a private terrace area with hardwood garden furniture and barbecue. The majority of the cottages are detached so at Flagstone Farm you will not be uncomfortably aware of your neighbours.

Flagstone Farm  is situated in an idyllic 12 acres of fields and woodland rich in wildlife. The setting is picturesque with superb views over the North Cotswold countryside offering plenty of space to relax and unwind.

These charming and comfortable retreats are perfectly positioned for exploring the abundant delights of the Cotswolds, being situated just two miles west of Stow on the Wold. Although in a peaceful and tranquil setting they are conveniently situated in terms of accessibility from all major routes; London is only 80 minutes away; Birmingham 40 minutes.

Broadway.  Sleeps 14 + 2+ cot.

This spacious two storey property has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.

Ground floor:- Kitchen, living room dining room (seats up to 22) ,second kitchen, hall/snug, w/c. two four poster bedrooms, one with en suite shower, one with en suite bath.
First floor: - Staircase 1 ; double bedroom with en suite shower room, twin bedded room with en suite bathroom, staircase 2 ; double bedroom with en suite shower room, two twin bedded rooms, shower room.

Stanton:- Sleeps 12+ 2 +cot.
This spacious two storey property has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

Ground Floor:- Very spacious, open plan living dining room (dining area can seat up to 40) with well equipped kitchen. Two attractive 4 poster rooms , one with en suite shower room, one with en suite bathroom.

First floor:- staircase 1 ; two twin bedded rooms, both with en suite shower rooms; staircase 2 ; double bedroom, twin bedded room , bathroom.

The Farmhouse:- Sleeps 8 + cot.

Ground Floor: – Very large farmhouse kitchen/dining room (seats up to 25 people) lounge, snug, utility room, w/c, four-poster bedroom with en suite shower.
First floor: - Double bedroom with en suite shower, two twin bedded rooms, bathroom.

Snowshill and Bibury:- Sleep 6 each +cot.

These two cottages are almost identical in layout.

Ground floor: - Large open plan living /dining room with well equipped kitchen, double bedroom with en suite shower room.
First floor: - Two twin bedded rooms with main bathroom/shower room.

Clematis:- Sleeps 2 plus cot.

Ideal for romantic breaks. This attractive single storey cottage has an open plan living dining area and a well equipped kitchen, a four poster bedroom with en suite bath/shower.

Each of the six barns has been tastefully converted in order to retain as many original character features as possible, such as exposed beams and stonework. Special emphasis has been placed on spacious rooms, quality, warmth and comfort.

 The buildings are some of the best insulated on the Cotswolds and have a very high proportion of bathrooms/shower rooms to bedrooms. Each kitchen is hand made from old pine and all bathrooms contain pretty ceramics with quality brass fittings. All the cottages are fully carpeted throughout and fitted out to 5 star standards.

All Cottages

Equipped with Bed linen, towels (x2) and tea towels provided. Starter pack of washing powder, washing up liquid, dishwasher powder.  Colour T.V. + video.  Oven, hob, microwave (all electric). Auto washing machine/tumble dryer. Dishwasher. Cot + highchair (if required). Fully double glazed . Fully insulated to at least twice the normal standard.  Sitting out area, with hardwood patio furniture and barbecue. All cottages have easy walking access. All electricity by meter reading. Central heating by N.S.H.

Around the area

There is plenty to see and do in the area both in terms of touring by car and / or walking. Within ½ hours drive there is Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon, the beautiful Regency town of Cheltenham and the historic University town of Oxford. Slightly further afield is Warwick (40 minutes) with its magnificent castle and Bath (60 minutes). Within a 10 mile radius such delightful gems such as Burford; Chipping Campden; Broadway; Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Moreton in Marsh are to be found.

There is also a first class choice of inns and restaurants within the locality.

There are many beautiful walks in the immediate area and in addition to the numerous facilities on site, fly-fishing; golf; swimming and horse riding are all available near at hand. As well as stately homes such as Blenheim; Stanway house; Chastelton House; Seizencote and Snowshill Manor, some of England's loveliest gardens and arboretums are nearby - Batsford; Westonbirt; Hidcote; Kiftsgate; Sudeley. For children we have Birdland, The Model Village, Model Railway at Bourton on the Water; Cotswold Farm Park and Cotswold Wildlife Park; the steam railway at Toddington, Sleepy Hollow Farm Park and Broadway Tower and Country Park. For adults who like antique hunting and paintings the Cotswolds are a veritable mecca - Stow on the Wold, Chipping Campden and Broadway being particularly worth a visit.
