Moor Farm Stable Cottages are set in beautiful, natural countryside about twenty miles from the Norfolk Broads and the North Norfolk making this the ideal place for touring.  For the keen fisherman, the owners have fishing rights on the nearby River Wensum, also a well-stocked pond and fishing lake. Moor Farm also has a well stocked fishing lake opposite the farm.

All guests at Moor Farm are very welcome to fish in the lake at any time free of charge

We are a working farm and many of our guests enjoy seeing that lifestyle first handThere are Excellent village shops at Bawdeswell nearby and you can get Free eggs fresh from the farm

Recently converted from stables, these cottages have been comfortably furnished.
With the disabled in mind, numbers 1 and 2 have extra wide doors, shower rooms to accommodate wheel chairs and other specialised fittings. All accommodation is at ground level with the exception of No.8.  All Cottages have a lounge/diner with colour TV, fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridge and microwave oven.
Each apartment has a luxury shower room with WC and No.8 has a bath and shower.
Fully fitted carpets and full central heating make Stable Cottages really comfortable at any time of the year.
Electricity is by £1 coin meter.

Littlewoods & Bailey Barns

Five minutes walk from the Farm, Littlewoods and Bauleys barns have recently been very sensitively converted to provide holiday homes, each with two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom.
Situated just off the quiet village street, they both have fully fitted kitchens with dishwasher and washing machines.

      

All rooms are at ground level with french doors leading out onto a delightful patio with garden furniture and BBQ.
The high ceilings and exposed beams throughout give these barns an exceptionally spacious feel for a family holiday.

Both barns have immaculately fitted bathrooms.  Littlewoods Barn has a particularly spacious master bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom.

Moor Farm Cottage

This attractive period cottage dates back over 300 years and is set in the farm yard in unspoilt countryside.  A spacious, well furnished cottage, with central heating throughout and fitted carpets, it offers very comfortable accommodation for a family or group of friends.

Accommodation:-  Downstairs the cottage  has a large lounge with an open fire, colour TV, a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave oven and fridge.  There is also a fully fitted bathroom and WC.
Upstairs, the main bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, the second bedroom has twin beds and the third bedroom, off bedroom two, has a double bed.  There is also a shower room and WC.
Electricity is operated by £1 coin meter.

Outside:-There are well maintained lawned gardens to the front overlooking open fields.  Car parking is available both to the front and the side.

Heather Cottage

A very bright cottage located at the centre of this attractive village.  It is a comfortably furnished cottage and will be of interest to those seeking a quiet and peaceful break in the country.

Accommodation:- A spacious lounge with wood fire and colour TV give this a home from home feel.  There is central heating in all the rooms.  Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave oven and fridge, a bathroom and WC.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a further twin bedded room.  Electricity is operated by a £1 coin meter..

Outside:- Heather cottage has a well maintained lawned garden with a summer house and fish pond.  Car parking is at the side of the house.

Shamrock Cottage

      

Next door to Heather Cottage is Shamrock Cottage. It too is a comfortably furnished cottage and will be of interest to those seeking a quiet and peaceful break in the country.

Accomodation:- A spacious lounge with colour TV give this a home from home feel too.  Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave oven and fridge, a bathroom and WC.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a further twin bedded room.  Electricity is operated by a £1 coin meter.

Outside:- Shamrock Cottage has a well maintained and fenced-in lawned garden.   Car parking: it has its own garage at the side of the house.

Other activities

For Ramblers and bird-watchers there are over 360 acres of Naturalist Trust woodland at Foxley Wood.

Holiday makers keen on metal detecting are always welcome on Moor Farm land. Even during the growing season we can often accommodate them on neighbouring uncropped field.
