Houseboat, sleeps 2-5, on the Thames in Brentford, West London

The Bush Houseboat is a charming boat that has been thoroughly refitted throughout to give it all the comforts of a modern flat.

The Bush is a unique holiday 'cottage', ideal for a short city break or romantic holiday.  After enjoying all the hustle and bustle of central London come back to the peace and seclusion of the river, away from the noise and rush of traffic and let the river help you unwind.

 A new central heating has been installed and gives constant hot water and warmth at the touch of a switch.

Accommodation

Bedrooms

Two bedrooms, with double and twin beds.  There is a third single bedroom has a ceiling height for those under 5'8in, making it more  suitable for a child's room.

Kitchen

Modern and well equipped this spacious kitchen which also leads through to the sitting room, has wonderful views through a teak skylight. It is equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine. Our resident swans can be fed from the kitchen window,

Sitting Room

The comfortable sitting room is cosily furnished, and has a wood burning stove for those chilly winter evenings.

Bathroom 

The newly fitted bathroom comes with power shower, Toilet and wash basin.

All the rooms have views straight on to the Thames and the riverbank at Kew Gardens. 

The Wheelhouse

Upstairs in the wheelhouse window seats have been fitted to make the most of the peaceful surroundings,  

Boat Deck

Outside, there is a boat deck with a table and chairs for al fresco dining. In the Spring, the Canada geese and grebes show off their babies from our boat deck.

Garden

You can reach our secluded garden by the spiral staircase from the car park.

The boat has a private car park (a blessing in London).

Places of Interest  

From Kew Pier, boats can be taken either up river into Richmond and Hampton Court, or downriver to Westminster Pier and the Houses of Parliament.

From Kew Bridge we are only 15 minutes by train into Waterloo station and all the many attractions of central London.

There are lots of lovely places to eat, all within 15 minutes walk from The Bush.  Either follow the Thames path to Strand on the Green with its riverside pubs and restaurants, or walk across Kew Bridge to Kew Green with its choice of restaurants and pubs.

From £420 per week or £60 per night in low season (November - March) 

£700 in high season (April - October)
