This charming 16th centuary farmhouse is set in 2 acres of garden, situated in the tranquil Berkshire countryside.

Sheephouse Manor is only a few minutes drive from the town of Maidenhead and the M4 (J7). Towns such as Henley, Marlow and Windsor are in close proximity. Heathrow Airport is 15 minutes away by car.

Originally built as a farmhouse some four hundred years ago and now run as Bed & Breakfast accommodation, this beautiful 16th Century property has retained all its old charm and beauty, combining original oak beams and timber floors with open fireplaces and miniature antique pine doors.

The four guest bedrooms have been elegantly furnished to enhance its individual characteristics, with antique pine furniture and period pictures of local views.

Bedrooms

Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom or shower room. Colour Television with Satellite film channel, mini-bar. Tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms, and there is access to a fax machine and the Internet.

Self Catering Chalets

Adjacent to the house, a milking parlour and stable block have recently been converted into four self catering chalets, and are available for stays from 1 week to 3 months.

All chalets have a pleasant aspect on to the gardens and have private parking. 

Each chalet has colour television with Satellite film channel, fully equipped kitchen. Bed linen and towels are provided and coin operated launderette facilities are available on site.

Chalet One

Studio with a double-bed and a sofa bed, private shower room and kitchenette (sleeps one or two people).

Chalet Two

Double bedroom, lounge, with sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom. One or two additional single rooms each with private bathroom can be booked to extend this accommodation. (Sleeps 2 - 4 people).

Chalet Three 

Double bedroom, lounge with sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom. It also has private patio and garden. (Sleeps 1 - 3 with sofa bed).

Chalet Four

This large studio, has a double bed, sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom. (Sleeps 2 - 4 people)

Facilities -

Continental buffet breakfast is served in the dining room adjacent.

Coin operated laundry for guests to use. Great children's playground.

We have 2 pet donkeys.

Off street parking.

Pets by prior arrangement.

Places of Interest to Visit

Sheephouse Manor is set in the beautiful Thames Valley  within easy access of many other areas of outstanding natural beauty. Beaconscot Model Village, and Sheephouse Trout Fishery which is adjacent to us.

Within a few miles drive there are a variety of fascinating places to visit including the historic town of Royal Windsor which has excellent shopping facilities. No visit to Windsor would he complete without visiting the Castle or Legoland.

We are within 30 minutes drive from Henley, Ascot, Heathrow Airport and a 30 minute train journey from central London.

Burnham Beeches and the Chilterns provide the some fabulous walks

Other attractions in the area include Cliveden House, owned by the National Trust, Boulters lock, Cookham Village and the Bekonscot Model Village to name but a few.

There are many delightful country pubs close by to have an evening drink.

Just 5 minutes away on foot, the River Thames provides a tranquil setting for beautiful walks along the towpath, Windsor in one direction and Henley/Marlow in the other.

Boats are available for hire or you can take a boat trip from the nearby jetty - regular trips run throughout the summer.

Mountain bikes are available for hire to enable you to explore the local countryside and detailed maps are available.
