Semi detached cottage to let for holidays. Situated close to the sea with sea views and near the quiet of the countryside. Just 2 miles from the small Town of Hythe.

This well equipped cottage is ideal for holidays by the sea, which is visible from the house, and just a few miles from the countryside. It is 5 minutes drive to Euro tunnel, 14 miles from Ashford International Station and a good centre for visiting Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone, Hythe and New Romney

Pre-Arrival

A warm welcome offers a gift of tea, coffee, bread, butter, milk, sugar & marmalade which is laid our for all guests on arrival.

Main Entrance & Reception

An 8 inch step up to half glazed entrance door into hall which has bathroom, kitchen airing cupboard, lounge and storage cupboard doors leading from this entrance.

The Lounge

Leads to staircase with handrails. In the lounge are 2 double settees and an extending dinging table with 4 chairs (2 in cupboards).

A music Centre, television and dvd, central and wall lighting, mirror and pictures make this a comfortable room along with a coal effect gas fire. There are also books magazines and puzzles for entertainment.

Bedrooms

Front bedroom:-  has a double bed with 2 bedside units with lamps. wardrobe, dressing table with triple mirror and 6 draws. Bedroom chair, luggage bench, tall swing mirror and 2 corner units.

Back bedroom:- has one double bed, 2 bedside cabinets with lamps, dressing table with triple mirror and 6 draws. Bedroom chair and tall wall mirror.
Both bedrooms have several 13amp socket plugs

Bathroom, Shower-room & WC [Ensuite or Shared]

Ground floor:- bathroom with bath, shower and shower curtain, WC, Hand basin, wall cabinet, mirror and stool/ laundry basket.

First floor:- has a WC with hand basin, wall cabinet, mirror and heating boiler.

Self-Catering Kitchen

The kitchen is well equipped, laminated throughout, modern and airy with a view over the garden. It has a stainless steel sink and drainer, fridge, freezer, washing machine, gas oven and hob, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and larder. There is a plentiful supply of cooking pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. For safety there is a fire blanket on the wall.

Also within the kitchen is a round laminated dining table with chairs and 2 stools. There is also a unit which houses adverts and menus from a variety of places of interest to visit and establishments to eat.

Laundry

There is a washing machine in the kitchen with an airier for inside drying and a washing line for outside drying. Iron and ironing board are located in the storage cupboard.

Grounds and Gardens
 

There are maintained front and back gardens. The front garden in a Mediterranean style, laid with beach plants and shrubs.

The back garden is large and is mostly lawn with a small patio area with table, chairs and bench.

Facility for drying clothes and playing swing ball.

Additional Information

We supply all bed linen, towels, soap and toilet rolls. there is a single put you up bed in the storage cupboard.
The cottage observes a no smoking policy.
The cottage is not suitable for children and pets but this can sometimes be considered by arrangement.
External windows double glazed windows.

Places of interest.

There are many places of interest in and around Hythe for example; Day trips to France by ferry or euro link, royal military canal, Harbour and Fish Market, Canterbury Cathedral, Dover Museum, Port Lympne Animal Park as well as many other things to do around this area.
