Fiona and Ian welcome you to Hilton Farm a 16th Century Farm House -  Sleeps 10 .

        

Superb setting in 25 acres of ground. Self catering 4 star cottages, open all year. We enjoy sea views and are close to the beach.

A 16th Century Farmhouse in an unrivalled position with breathtaking views over unspoilt country side to the sea at Widemouth Bay. The ideal place to make the most of Cornwall and Devon.

The Farmhouse was built in 1597 on the original site of the Manor House, which was mentioned in the Domesday book, and retains many features you would expect of that era.

Accommodation

The farmhouse has 5 bedrooms, 2 en-suite, 1 double, 1 twin, and 1 bunk bedded, including a family bathroom. Sleeps 10 plus a cot or small bed. 

Large character lounge with slate floors and wood-burner, dining room with wood-burner and farmhouse table that seats 12. Kitchen and dairy with dishwasher, large cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. 

The Farmhouse also has its own private front garden with furniture. Also with the use of the heated swimming pool, sun terrace, and Jacuzzi. Set in 25 acres with play area.

All electric is included in the tariff.

Courtyard Cottages

Quietly set away from the pool and play area, are the courtyard cottages. With breathtaking rural and sea views, backing onto our own fields.

Pear Tree and Stable Cottages:

These are comfortable single story one bedroomed cottages. With exposed beams and apex ceilings. The accommodation comprises of a sitting room/dining room with galley kitchen, shower room with w.c. and hand basin. Fully equipped with TV. and video, microwave, cooker, fridge etc. All linen provided.

As its name suggests this is a cosy one bedroomed cottage for two. It has views of the sea. Beamed ceilings, sitting room/dining room, galley kitchen, a shower room with w.c. and hand basin. Fully equipped with TV., video, microwave, cooker, fridge etc.

All these cottages have benches and areas to sit outside.

Family Cottages

These three tastefully restored barn conversions over look the pool are fully equipped with TV, video, cooker, fridge, microwave etc. All linen included. Each has a large decking area outside with furniture for outside comfort.

Badger Cottage:  Sleeps 6 and a  cot.

This wooden-beamed cottage offers three bedroomed accommodation, consisting of a double bedroom, a bunk room and shower room on the ground floor with a galleried bedroom above lounge. Open plan kitchen/lounge and dining room area. Cots and highchairs can be provided.

Primrose Cottage:  Sleeps 5 and a cot.

This wooden-beamed cottage offers three bedroomed accommodation, consisting of a double bedroom, a single bedroom, and shower room on the ground floor with a galleried bedroom above lounge. Open plan kitchen/lounge and dining room area. Cots and highchairs can be provided.

Swallows Nest Cottage:  Sleeps 4 and a cot.

This wooden-beamed 2 bedroomed cottage has sea views. Consisting of open plan kitchen/lounge and dining room area, 1 double and 1 bunk bed room, shower room, w.c. and hand basin. Cots and highchairs can be provided.

Three new cottages built to luxury spec. They are sympathetically constructed to blend with the existing 16th and 18th century cottages, built to a very high standard. Each has superb views over rolling countryside, down to the sea, adjacent to the swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Cottages are fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, TV and video, CD player and washer/dryer. Gas centrally heated and double glazed for your comfort.

Linen is provided, cots and highchairs can also be made available.

Parsons Cottage  Sleeps7 and 2 cots.

This has 2 double bedrooms, the main being en-suite, and a twin room on the first floor, and a single room on the ground floor, and a family bath room. Also on the ground floor is a spacious kitchen, dining room and lounge with wooden floors and open fireplace with wood burner. Private garden and patio with furniture.

Manor Cottage:  Sleeps 6 and 2 cots

This has 2 double bedrooms, the main being en-suite, and a twin room on the ground floor. There is also a family bathroom. On the first floor there is a spacious kitchen, lounge with wood burner and dining room. A balcony with furniture and spectacular views to the sea.

Pound Cottage:  Sleeps 4 and 2 cots.

This is a single story with 1 double and 1 twin room. It has a spacious kichen and lounge/dining area. A large bathroom with bath and shower. Private garden and patio with furniture. This cottage is suitable for disabled guests.

Heated outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace and Spa bath and a Tennis Court.

Activity area / Play area / BBQ and picnic area.

Laundry facilities.

Set on a small holding containing tame farm animals.
