Langdon Farm Holiday Cottages are set in beautiful Cornish countryside, this complex of three barn cottages and one Victorian cottage is surrounded by 40 acres of grassland (available for guests use) and conveniently located 10 miles from the sea and 7 miles from Launceston and the A30. Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are both approximately 20 mins drive away. Launceston was the original capital of Cornwall and has a beautiful old castle and a local steam train. Bude has superb beaches and excellent surfing locations.
The Cottages
All of the cottages (except the Doll's House) have a four-poster bed. They all have well equipped kitchens, TV/VCR and stereo Radio/CD Player, bathroom with hand shower over, small lawns with garden furniture and BBQ. Washing machine/dryer available on-site (small charge applies)
Brambles and Primrose Cottages
A pair of large two bedroom converted upside down (ie bedrooms on ground
floor) stone barn cottages with countryside
views.
The master bedrooms:- have four-poster beds and the second bedrooms each have two pine single beds. There are beamed ceilings throughout the ground floor and slate floors in the halls and bathrooms.
The first floors:- are very spacious and open plan, and consist of a fully fitted kitchen including microwave oven and dishwasher, a dining area for up to 4 people and a living area with luxury leather sofa suites, colour TV/ VCR, and stereo radio/CD player.
The cottages both have full heating during the colder months and each cottage has a small lawn with a washing line and garden furniture. There is off road parking for up to 2 cars per cottage.
Langdon Farm Cottage
This stone cottage is attached to one end of the farmhouse and was built in the mid 1800’s. The cottage is south facing with lovely views across the garden and on to the surrounding countryside. Guests may also use the main farmhouse garden and surrounding fields for walks/recreation etc.
On the ground floor:- there is a
Fully Fitted Kitchen with Microwave
and Dishwasher.
The sitting/dining room:- has a feature fireplace, Colour TV/VCR, Radio/CD, and dining area for two. The bathroom has a bath/hand shower suite.
The bedroom:- is on the first floor and has a Four-Poster bed, with space for either a cot or folding bed if requested.
There is full central heating a secluded lawn to the side of the cottage, a washing line and garden furniture for two, with BBQ available.
Dolls House
This is a cosy cottage attached to one end of the Barn cottages. There is a
1st floor bedroom with either a double bed or 2 single beds, and fully fitted
bathroom, with hand shower. Note that there is a low sloping ceiling upstairs.
The ground floor:- is open plan with a Fully Fitted kitchen which includes a Microwave, and which opens out onto a Deck with table and chairs. The sitting area has Colour TV/VCR, stereo Radio/CD player, and dining area for two.
There is full central heating / off road car parking for one car / BBQ available.
