The Tamar Valley Cottages lie within the beautiful and extensive grounds of North Tamerton's Old Rectory.

With commanding panoramic views over unspoilt countryside towards Dartmoor and within a short drive of North Cornwall's stunning heritage coast this tranquil rural location provides the ideal environment in which to banish the stresses of everyday life.

North Tamerton sits on the Cornwall/Devon border overlooking the upper reaches of the Tamar and is equidistant between the picturesque seaside town of Bude and the historic charming town of Launceston.

Our cottages allow one to easily experience unspoilt sandy beaches, rugged cliffs, the spectacular National Trust coastal footpath, evocative villages such as Clovelly, Port Isaac, Tintagel and Padstow as well as the wild majesty of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor.  All cottages have been recently refurbished to a high quality standard and provide visitors with superior comfort in beautiful surroundings.

Hendra (sleeps 4-8)

Bedrooms:- With four attractive bedrooms and its spacious, comfortable, open plan sitting/dining room this cottage makes an attractive choice for parents with children and their grandparents to enjoy.

Ground Floor:- Large, open-plan sitting room/dinning room with French windows onto private terrace. Well equipped kitchen including freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

First floor:- One double room, one twin bedded room, one bunk bedded room, family bathroom.

Bodrugan (sleeps 2-4)

Single storey:-  Delightful open-plan sitting room/dining room with well-fitted kitchen area.

Treneglos (sleeps 2-5)

Single storey: - Very comfortable open-plan sitting room/dining room with well-equipped kitchen area (including dishwasher).

Penhale (sleeps 2-4)

Single storey:- Attractive open-plan sitting room/dining room with a well-fitted kitchen area. One double bedroom overlooking the orchard. One twin-bedded room. Family bathroom. Private terrace.

All Cottages:-  Electricity included (May to September - meter readings at other times),  Microwave Colour , TV Video & DVD,  Garden furniture,  BBQ, Duvets with linen,  Cot & high chair (by arrangement),
