This comfortable, brand new holiday home is situated about one and half miles from various beaches, such as Porthcothan, Treyarnon, Trevose, Trevone, Harlyn Sands, Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth. The Point Curlew estate is ideally located for exploring North Cornwall and only half an hour's drive from the Eden Project. Curlew is deceptively spacious, beautifully designed and furnished in a contemporary style to provide a light airy home well equipped with every comfort.

We are a new complex just beginning and have one of the first four ready to use. Built in a country cottage style this log clad holiday home is set amongst acres of idyllic Cornish countryside, with lovely views to the Camel Estuary.

The Lodge -  Sleeps 6

Care has been taken to make this a compact and up to date dwelling. Your car can be parked close to the lodge, and there are steps leading up to the front door. The bungalow is centrally heated and fully double glazed.

Kitchen:-  Opened plan layout provides a finely appointed kitchen fully equipped with LPG hob and a single electric oven, integrated fridge/freezer, washer/drying machine, toaster, kettle and microwave.

The Dining Area:-  has a beautiful beech table and six chairs set into an alcove with views across the estate.

The Sitting Room:-  Is comfortably furnished with two chairs and a sofa, an LPG fire and a 32" television with Sky. There is also a payphone.

The Three bedrooms:-  are pleasantly decorated in pleasing neutral colours. One of the bedrooms has bunk beds and the other two have double beds. All of the beds are new and of good quality. The main bedroom and both double bedrooms have beautiful full length wardrobes.

Shower Room:- The shower room is equipped with shower, toilet and basin en-suite. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over, a basin and a toilet.

Information

At the moment there are only the four log lodges on this large grassed site but there are areas mapped out for the additional ones to be sited. Garden furniture is provided with a table and four chairs for outside enjoyment.

There are screws along the veranda for you to hang your wetsuits and a hinged door access under the lodge provides a vast space for storing all manner of beach paraphernalia and other outdoor equipment. Plans are afoot for decked patio.

Point Curlew Chalet and Camping Site:  is set amidst 27 acres of peaceful parkland. The estate benefits from a children's play area, games room, spacious lounge bars, dining area, a clubhouse with free live entertainment (during peak season) and a conservatory restaurant. Point Curlew is one mile from St Merryn which has three restaurants, two pubs and an (award winning!) fish and chip shop.

Within two miles there a number of beautiful sandy beaches, three miles from Padstow, an historic working fishing port on the river Camel estuary.

Throughout Point Curlew estate there is ample free parking space provided for each chalet, this is away from the chalets to enable children to play safely. Guests are not permitted to bring pets on the estate, so the grass parkland is very clean. Young single sex groups are not permitted either.
