Polmark House  is situated only 200yds away from the beach of Harlyn Bay. Built in 1926 as a coastal retreat for a wealthy London solicitor, with traditional Cornish stonework, granite lintels and  sills; the most significant feature is the oak panelling in some of the rooms.

Harlyn Bay is situated in a area of outstanding natural beauty on the picturesque north Cornish coast. Only a few miles away is the quaint old fishing port of Padstow. Filled with heritage and little shops it is one of Cornwall's best coastal towns. Enjoy a meal at Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant, or one of the other restaurants/bistros.

We  have four self catering apartment suites, which accommodate from 2 to 6 people.

All apartments are equipped with modern facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Each apartment has en-suite facilities and a spacious living area. A laundry facility is also available at Polmark House.

Polmark House  offers a lite bite menu in the evening.

If you wish to eat out, then there is an abundance of local restaurants that we can recommend, and book for you, from the Harlyn Inn with it's Carvery, to Michelin star restaurants which is within 1 mile.

 Activities in the area

Camel Trail, a bicycle road leads inland to Wadebridge and then Bodmin via the route of the River Camel. It  follows the old route of the Padstow branch line and therefore is perfectly flat, ideal for the family.

Alternatively why not pursue your favourite sport. With all water sports and surfing nearby and golf, swimming, tennis and others.

Directions

We are located approximately 2 miles south of Padstow on the B3276. The easiest route is to follow the B3276 from Padstow and turn right for Harlyn Bay. WE are located over the bridge on the right.

We are only 8 miles from Newquay airport with frequent links to Gatwick and Stanstead.

The hotel is approximately 20 miles from Bodmin Parkway Station.
