Welcome to Culdees Bunkhouse, independent hostel and B&B house situated in Fearnan, in the heart of Perthshire, Scotland

We are provide a comfortable, relaxing and atmospheric experience ideal for individuals, families and groups at a budget price.

Whether you're a motorist, a cyclist or a Munro bagger, you'll find a homely place for just a night or for your holidays.

We can offer you several options:- Whether you wish to stay as a big group, as a family or friends or just on your own.

Bunkhouse

The Self Catering Bunkhouse comprises of 4 rooms. Each room accommodates 4 people. There is a well equipped kitchen with dining area for 16 people, and an overflow kitchen is available during busy times

Bedrooms:- The four bedded bunk rooms have individual reading lights, beds with duvets, fresh linen, towels, and an extra  pillow.

Overflow Accommodation

If the bunkhouse is fully booked, a static caravan can be used as an overflow. At the moment it has no facilities, but you can use the bunkhouse kitchen, showers and toilets

Bed & Vegetarian Breakfast

There are 3 B&B rooms are available.

In the B&B:- Two family rooms, each with a double bed and bunk beds. One room with a double bed.

All rooms provide clean linen and towels, and the opportunity to make your own coffee or tea. B&B rooms have a shared bathroom.

Porch room:

The porch room is on ground floor level and has its own entrance. The room has one double bed.

Family rooms

Loch view room and court yard room:- are situated on the first floor of the main house. Both rooms have a double bed and bunk beds

Other Facilities:- All rooms have digital locks to give you the opportunity of storing your possessions safely when you are out.

Four toilet/shower rooms

Living room:-  with television area and a wide range of DVD and video movies

Large music room:- with 2 pianos (1 baby-grand), a violin, guitars, drums and other instruments

Barn:- Big open barn, ideal for barbeques or big joyful gatherings, great when it's raining!

Drying room:-  with Belfast sink, washer and dryer

Outside
Lockable bike shed
Toys, play area, plenty of space for football and other outdoor games
Animals: 2 horses, goats, hens (surplus goat milk and eggs are available at a small charge)

N.B: We do not give group discounts since we regard the guest accommodation project as 'a means to an end';  to help manifest 'The Cornerstones'

How to make a booking

If you want to make a booking, please phone. Online booking is not possible.
If the required rooms are available at the time you need them, we can accept the booking, but we'll need a guarantee. In general, too many times people make a booking and don't show up; in those occasions we could have given the room to somebody else.
The guarantee can be either a deposit or debit/credit card details. Please be assured that we DON'T CHARGE YOU YET if you give your card details!
