Standing in almost two acres of open land this spacious family home is situated some 26 miles north of Inverness, in the community of Ardross near to Alness, the Cromarty Firth, Dingwall and Dornoch. Lower Inchlumpie is a delightful, spacious but cosy, well equipped, family home. Built in 1989 it sleeps 8 people, in 5 bedrooms, with a cot for a baby.

Lower Inchlumpie is located in an open position overlooking the River Alness which is forever changing as it tumbles towards the Cromarty Firth. Beyond are the forests and mountains of the Highlands. The two acre property borders Inchlumpie Wood and is an absolute haven for wildlife which you can observe from the house.

The garden is large and enclosed with 3 small steps up to the house

There is a paved area with terrace and garden furniture to seat eight and umbrella. Gas barbecue for outdoor dining. Beside the house there is plenty of space for car parking. Secure storage for outdoor equipment and also mountain bikes. There are two paddocks, one with a pond filled by a burn which runs through the property.

About the area

Lower Inchlumpie is situated in open land in the secluded glen of Strathrusdale at the junction of the Blackwater and River Alness. It is part of the Ardross community and just 26 miles (about half an hour's drive) north of Inverness. It is 6 miles from the thriving town of Alness which is a Britain in Bloom Winner. Along Alness High Street are supermarkets, restaurants, Banks, Post Office and other shops.
