Lyonston
Cottages are situate 6.6
miles South of Ayr off the A77, 11 miles North of Girvan.
Within a 4 mile radius are fine sandy beaches and both sea and river fishing. The area is deeply associated with Robert Burns, the National Bard's birthplace only 6 miles. Within easy travelling distance of many golf courses including two Championship courses Turnberry and Troon.
Maybole town centre is 1/4 mile and there is a general store just a few minutes walk away.
Accommodation
Many extras are in both cottages to give added pleasure and comfort.
Lyon Cottage
Lyon cottage in private lane and has a large private
sheltered garden with large lawn and flower borders. It has front and side doors
and Nightstore heaters in entrance halls.
There is Parking for two cars within the cottage grounds.
Equipped with Colour TV, Radio, Coal effect 2 bar & convector electric fire, nightstore heater.
One double room and a twin bedded room.
A cot can be used in the twin bedroom to sleep three.
The bedrooms are equipped with Electric Heaters with timers which can be set to your own requirements. There are also Electric Blankets and Hairdryers in each room.
Kitchen
Fully fitted kitchen, all electric, equipped with Cooker, Fridge/Freezer, Microwave, Automatic Washing Machine , Tumble dryer, Toaster & Coffee Machine.
Three piece ivory coloured bathroom suite, electric heater and shaver point.
Dairy Cottage IS at the end of the farm steading. It has it's own private enclosed garden which borders onto grass fields with views of the hills beyond. The back garden has a lawn area, flower borders and a patio area with garden furniture. Parking for two cars at cottage front door.
A large room. On one side all electric fitted Kitchen with Fridge/Freezer, Cooker, Microwave, Coffee Machine, Toaster etc. On the other side is the Dining area which overlooks the surrounding countryside.
With three piece bathroom suite, over the bath electric shower, shaver point and electric heater.
Bedrooms
One Double bed.
One twin bedded room. An extra bed or cot can be used in this large room to
sleep three.
Equipped with Electric blankets, hair dryers and electric heaters in both rooms.
About the area
Maybole swimming pool and 9 hole golf course are 1/2 mile away.
Historic Castles are all around, National Trust for Scotland's "Flagship" Culzean Castle is only 4 miles.

Electricity charges are Scottish Power rates the meter being read on arrival and again on the morning of departure.
Oil central heating at Dairy Cottage is £10 per week 1st Sat June to 1st Sat September.
From 1st Sat September to 1st Sat June £20 per week.
Optional pets may be brought at owners discretion £12 per week.
Linen hire available.
