Parc Teifi sets the scene for a relaxing
get away from it all break. This brand new holiday village is set in an idyllic
location in the beautiful Welsh countryside.
Nestling alongside the River Teifi, with landscaped grounds and a backdrop of the nearby Penbannau Hills. The leisure complex is approached over the picturesque ancient stone bridge after which Pontrhydfendigaid is named.
The houses are all named after Monks who inhabited the nearby Cistercian Abbey, Strata Florida, where a wealth of local history can be seen with artefacts dating as far back as the Stone Age.
Accommodation
Each holiday home has 3 double or twin bedrooms and is fully equipped with everything you would expect to make your stay a most pleasurable experience.
Living Rooms
All the living rooms have leather sofas, flat
screened TV's with SKY channels and hardwood flooring, with patio doors leading
on to the decked garden areas overlooking the river.
The Kitchens
Each of the kitchens has a dishwasher, microwave, built in oven and larder fridge/freezer and most have their own washing machine and tumble dryer. A laundry room is also available for those who wish to use it.
The houses each
have three double or twin bedrooms, and the master bedrooms are all ensuite. Bed
linen and towels are included in the rental.
Bedrooms
All properties have bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor, ensuring easy access for those unable to use the stairs. In some properties the ensuite master bedrooms are on the ground floor. All bathrooms are luxuriously appointed, fully tiled with power showers and several have whirlpool baths.
Drying Area:-
If you are taking a break to enjoy walking,
cycling, mountain biking, golfing or fishing in the locality, a drying area is
available to ensure that everything is kept clean and dry until you next want to
use it.

Eating Out:- there are also several places to dine within walking distance, so leave your car in your designated parking space and relax. Breakfast, Lunch and Evening meals available in local restaurants.
About Parc Teifi
All guests are given a warm welcome at the dedicated Reception Office where
keys can be collected and information on what to do in the locality can be found. The Conference and Function area is a purpose built facility which offers
businesses that chance to have an "Away Day" and hold meetings, safe in the
knowledge that their day will be free from the regular office intrusions.
Pafiliwn Bont is literally a stone's throw away from Parc Teifi, and is home to
many of the cultural and music entertainment that regularly take place.
The local village shop and Post Office can cater for your every need, whilst a
short trip to either Aberystwyth or Aberaeron will give you the opportunity to
experience some " retail therapy."

STRATA FLORIDA ABBEY (1 mile from Parc Teifi) - The Cistercian Monastery of Strata Florida, or Ystrad Fflur was established in 1164 by monks from Whitland on land provided by Robert Fitzstephen, the Norman Lord Of Pennard. It was built on the banks of Afon Fflur, a tributary of the Teifi.
CORS CARON - A local nature reserve Cors Caron is situated on a stretch of land between Pontrhydfendigaid and Tregaron. It is not only the place to see the famous Red Kite but it is home to a number of rare species of wildlife known only to this part of the world.
TEIFI POOLS - Step back in time and sample the traditional way of fly fishing for Wild Brown Trout. The Teifi Pools offers the visiting angler, wonderful scenery with fantastic fishing. It is also an ideal place for walkers to take in the magnificent scenery on paths and tracks with a lane leading to Strata Florida Abbey.
