                                                                     The Barley Meadow Camping and Caravan Park is ideally placed just off the A30 at the gateway to Dartmoor and all its beauty. Pleasantly located in rolling countryside, the Park is well situated to explore the delights of the moor and the rest of Devon. The nearby market towns and villages offer many hours of quiet exploration for visitors with the chance to sample real ales, traditional Devon cream teas and other locally produced food in their many pubs, tearooms and restaurants.

Just a few miles away is the City of Exeter, Devon's county town. Exeter is an enjoyable city to visit. Its beautiful Cathedral is well worth seeing! The glorious coasts of South and North Devon are also within easy reach and the City of Plymouth is just a short drive away.

The Plymouth Aquarium is not to be missed if you are visiting the city.
Cross the border to Cornwall and you can visit the splendid Eden Project, a Biome, where an artificial environment has been created in two geodesic domes in one of the most exciting and spectacular projects in the country. Staying more locally, however, there are many relaxing walks, especially at nearby Fingle Bridge where the River Teign wends its way to join the sea at Teignmouth and Shaldon. The lower Fisherman's path takes you alongside the river with the
Hunter's path taking you high above the gorge to Castle Drogo and the village of Drewsteignton. All this, and more, make Barley Meadow an ideal base for exploring the delights of Devon and the South West.

 Barley Meadow is great for children, offering a play area that includes a sand pit, swings and  slide. Also a pool table in the Tv room. It also provides excellent washing, shower and laundry facilities and every effort is made to ensure that your stay here is an enjoyable one.
